Software Engineer – Ghent Region (Belgium) – Freelance 12 months+

For my client in the Ghent region, I am searching for a freelance Dutch-speaking Java Developer who are interested in embedded firmware development.

This company are scaling up & looking to make a positive impact within the environment.

This is fully remote for the time-being. After restrictions, you will be required on-site 2 days per week.

Role:

  • Develop and support the software for new and existing products within the automotive industry.
  • Supporting part of the R&D software team.
  • You develop & ensure new algorithms and controls for products of the future.

Required:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer.
  • Strong experience with Java 8+.
  • You have an interest in embedded firmware development.
  • Any experience with C++ , Python is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch.

Details:

  • Location: Ghent region
  • Length: 12 months+
  • Start date: ASAP
