Junior Drone Data Analyst

Who is SkyeBase?

What profile are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic individual with the right personality and skills to strengthen our team. Preferably, we want you to start in employment beginning February 2024.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for capturing and processing inspection data when conducting inspections for various clients in an industrial, technical, and high-risk context (both in Belgium and internationally)
• Collaborate with the pilot in command and take on the role of NDT inspector, observer, and/or payload operator during field assignments
• Process inspection data into a report in I-Spect (our own inspection platform) or generate Orthomosaic photos and 3D models
• Support in the management and maintenance of SkyeBase equipment
• Assist in testing, demos, and training activities
• Keep operational documents up-to-date and handle administration in accordance with our procedures
• Prepare and submit drone operation requests in accordance with legal procedures
• Perform tasks necessary to actively support the safety and quality management system
• Estimated time allocation: 60% on-site with clients and 40% in the office or remote work

What profile are we looking for?

• Driver’s license (B)
• You reside in the vicinity of Antwerp, as our assignments start from our Hub located in the north of Antwerp
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience
• Demonstrable technical background
• Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written), English (spoken and written), knowledge of French is an advantage
• Motivated problem solver with good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Strong analytical and creative thinking
• Organized and structured
• Able to take good photos with a camera in manual mode
• Stress-resistant, conscientious, and respectful of equipment
• Capable of working independently and in a group
• Enjoys working in a fast-growing company and has no “9 to 5” mentality
• Can work smoothly with Office and other digital packages

Bonus

• Experience with NDT inspections
• VCA-VOL
• Experience in planning and executing inspection assignments in various environments under difficult conditions
• Experience in data processing packages for Orthomosaic photos, 3D models, etc. (Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape,…)
• Knowledge of the industry and/or industrial environments
