Production | Finance | Junior Accountant| | Brussels | Accessible with public transport

For one of our clients, active in the production sector, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team in Brussels.
Responsibilities


  • Responsible for reviewing purchase requests, receiving supplier invoices and paying suppliers through accounts payable.
  • Track incoming invoices and expense reports, check for accuracy and ensure smooth processing.
  • Check outstanding amounts against invoices and credit notes received, and ensure that everything is paid on time.
  • Prepare corporate tax calculations and postings
  • Preparing balance checks
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Assist with financial and tax audits
  • Prepare accounting reports
  • Document and monitor internal controls to support the audit team
Required Profile
  • First experience in a similar position is a plus!
  • Practical knowledge of the MS Office package
  • You want to gain more experience within a multinational with a matrix structure
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
  • You speak fluent French and English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
