Your role at ACA

As a Support & Cloud Engineer at ACA:

  • you enjoy helping colleagues and customers with all kinds of questions,
  • you burst with energy when it comes to system, network and security challenges,
  • you are responsible for maintaining our internal laptops, infrastructure and our own servers in AWS,
  • you are the point of contact for problems and questions during our working hours,
  • you maintain your tools and code for the automatization of the infrastructure and pipelines for application installations,
  • you get the chance to work with the newest technologies and to immerse in AWS,
  • you get the chance to work with innovative technologies,
  • you work on internal projects to improve or renew our own tools.

In addition, you also get the chance to get certified in AWS and Kubernetes. You will join a fantastic team of passionate Cloud and DevOps engineers, developers and architects.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

As a Support & Cloud Engineer, a first work experience as Support or System Engineer is a plus.

  • You have a previous experience in managing Linux servers on system- and network level.
  • If you already have worked in a support role, that’s a big plus.

Do you have more to offer? Each of these skills count as a bonus:

  • DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, …
  • Experience with the Atlassian stack
  • Hands-on expeirience in setting up and deploying Docker Containers
  • Cloud expertise (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and certificates
  • Docker Orchestrators: Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Docker swarm
  • Applications like NGINX, Httpd, Tomcat, Felix, MySQL, PostGreSQL, ElasticSearch, …
  • Technologies like Kafka, CouchDB, Neo4J
  • Monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, OpsGenie,…
  • Shell scripting (Bash, Ruby, Python), DNS, …

Soft skills

  • You are a real teamplayer.
  • You are eager to learn, and always want to gain knowledge.
  • Knowledge sharing is a matter of course for you.
  • You have very good communication skills, and you speak Dutch and English fluently.
