Summary

DEME Concessions is the infrastructure developer, investor and manager within DEME Group, leveraging a unique combination of technical capabilities and financial strength of the Group and our partners. We focus on renewable energy, comprising offshore wind and green hydrogen, and on maritime infrastructure. With a growing portfolio and highly attractive pipeline, DEME Concessions develops major projects that help tackle the global need for energy transition and critical infrastructure.

Our integrated approach leverages the strengths of DEME Group as a leading global marine engineering group, present in over 90 countries with a team of over 5.200 people building on over 140 years of experience. Over the past decades, DEME has constructed over 70 offshore wind projects with over 20GW capacity and has been involved in the most iconic dredging and land reclamation projects, such as the Panama Canal, Suez Canal, the Pearl in Qatar and the Tuas Terminal One port expansion project in Singapore.

To support its expanding activities, DEME Concessions Green Hydrogen is looking to strengthen its team with a Junior Project Engineer.
  • You provide project support and services through expertise throughout the different development phases;
  • You analyze (financial) data, optimize on jointly defined criteria;
  • With profound technical knowledge, develop tender packages and liaise with suppliers;
  • You monitor the progress of the project, participate in coordinating activities in the field, optimize and fine-tune where necessary in support of the Project Manager or HQ;
  • You liaise with different stakeholders within the development team;
  • Taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the (project) management;
  • You ensure planning, budget control and cost monitoring;
  • You have a degree (BSc/Msc) in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • You have a passion for the energy transition and Green Hydrogen, and can demonstrate in your CV what you have been doing to satisfy that passion;
  • You appreciate that the success of such large scale projects are connected to both technical and financial leadership and you are willing to balance both;
  • You are a strong analytical and fast thinker, able to process a lot of information in an accurate way;
  • You master MS Office applications such as Excel;
  • You are fluent in putting your thoughts to paper and make a strong point;
  • You are social and respect cultural differences and backgrounds;
  • You have eye for detail and enjoy being part of a large team;
  • You are able to cope with strict deadlines;
  • You see the day-to-day flexibility needs as a challenge;
  • You are willing and open to travel, for short or long assignments abroad;
  • You are able to express yourself fluently in spoken and written English. Knowledge of any other language is an asset
