The junior software development engineer maintains and develops IT solutions for the operations in Belgium and for on-site projects around the world. The junior software development engineer develops software modules, interfaces, and workflows as well as provides the support to the production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain main applications with C#, SQL
  • Provide IT support to the production
  • Create or maintain technical documentations
  • Take part in various client projects
  • Work in Agile methodology, make work estimates for your tasks and Plan, track and report to manage Agile sprints
  • Participate in continuous improvement process of IT Solutions
  • You document solutions

  • Customer delivery manager

  • Senior project manager

Key External Relationships:

  • Operations on-site

Minimum education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or by equivalent experience

Minimum experience:

  • 1 years software development

Languages:

  • French: written and verbal fluency (B2)
  • English: written and verbal fluency (B2)

Professional Competencies:

  • Proven experience in .Net C# development (minimum 1 year)
  • Front-End development: WPF
  • Back-End development: C#
  • SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Source manager: TFS or Git
  • Able to collaborate by using an Agile methodology

Considered as a plus:

  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS or AngularJS…)
  • Back-end: WebAPI, ASP.NET Core
  • FFMPEG – scoping Audio/Video workflows and building using FFMPEG processing
