About this opportunity
We are now looking for a KAM Controller to be a pro-active business partner to the Key Account Manager and its Leadership Team. In this role, you will drive the e2e business finance process as well as the financial performance management of the key account by supporting the execution of the KAM’s strategic agenda. You understand risk management in both pre-sale and post-sales including project controlling and focus on optimizing financial performance of the key account by driving financial insight, effective business modelling and linking operational to financial metrics. This should be done with a deep understanding of the customers/stakeholders, market and the long-term overall direction of the unit. In this role, you are expected to engage and collaborate with various units like commercial management, operations, sales as well as other finance units. You act with the highest level of integrity and ensure compliance with internal processes and requirements.
In this role you will be reporting to the Customer Unit Head of Business Control and be part of the CU Business Control team.
What you will do
- Provide finance support in the pre-sales process; including accounting and payment terms related to incentives, contracts and terms and conditions
- Provide business partnering & advise that drives value creation and strategic alignment from initial contract to project delivery
- Drive financial performance management for the key account
- Drive finance mandate and compliance. Act with integrity and speak up on adherence to Code of Business Ethics (CoBE), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
- Ensure governance, compliance and adherence on financial framework and business process for the key account
- Engage with key stakeholders to perform risk analysis on selected opportunities in Sales Funnel to assess, identify & feedback
- Identify & address project portfolio control and performance related risks in Business Case (P/L, B/S including WCAP & Cash Flow), ensuring ability to follow up during execution
- Engage with Operations during FAS Planning to ensure efficient breakdown of Business case into Fulfillment Assignment from a financial perspective for projects in scope
- Secure financial control and optimal financials measurement are established within the project governance framework
- Based on financial performance versus operational progress, identify early signs and opportunities, advise & propose improvements for projects
- Address deviations between budget, latest plan & actuals, connect financial deviations to operational progress and identify actions as input to governance, reporting & secure update plan for projects in system
- Ensure financial risk management by identifying & quantify risks impacting the financial result, propose mitigations and evaluate the need for loss provision, for projects in scope
You will bring
- Core financials. Broad experience with the technical and business aspects of finance.
- Good Business acumen and understanding.
- Brings a strong leadership experience along with credibility & seniority. Is someone who can operate independently, has worked with demanding customers and in challenging business environment. Should have the ability to interface customers.
- A change agent, an influencer and a trusted Leader with strong values and Integrity
- Advanced experience with business partnering, formal and interpersonal communications across global and diverse organizations, influencing and change management initiatives.
- Excellent team player with well-developed communication skills
Additional requirements:
- Education: University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Experience in the Telco / ICT industry
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience from relevant position within Ericsson or relevant position at an external company giving the ability to act and perform the duties of the role Business Controller
