As a Key User/Process Expert, you will be the expert within your domain that knows the processes & the systems from a user point of view.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure the proper adoption of systems & processes within your domain.

What are the main tasks of a Key User/Process Expert?

Bring your deep business knowledge into business blueprint sessions for our switch to S4Hana;
Participate in the daily activities within the work preparation team;
Collaborate with the Business Analysts & other business experts from the department to come up with a clear view on processes & requirements needed for SAP Projects;
Act as a spokesperson for the End Users;
Participate in the validation of used cases/business scenario’s that are used as a baseline for system testing (both Integration Testing & UAT);
Participate in User Acceptance Testing;
Actively train end-users (Train The Trainer);
Be the first point of contact for SAP-related business questions on usage, etc;
Have a strong knowledge of interpreting technical designs (racking);
Ensure proper adoption of the changes to the system by the end-users, in close collaboration with the business analyst;
Strongly collaborate with the Business Analyst.

What are the needed competencies?

As the Key User/Process Expert will be in constant contact with a lot of end-users & key people within her/his domain, communication skills are crucial;
Analytical, in order to be able to quickly see improvements and simplifications;
The Key User should know the system thoroughly from a user point of view (no technical knowledge required);
Adaptation – as a Key User you should be able to quickly adapt based on changes within the business as this is moving constantly because of the strong ambitions of the Group;
Able to document issues in a way that they can be easily be interpreted by technical/functional specialists;
Good technical background with some engineering background included would be a must;
Open to travel abroad, each time for a short period;
You turn ideas & issues into solutions;
Keep deadlines although information is rapidly changing and often incomplete;
SAP experience as a Key User or Business Analyst is a must.
