The opportunity

EY Belgium is hiring a knowledge professional for our Tax & Accounting department.

Within the current Learning & Development team, we have a lot of skill diversity which enables us to manage and share knowledge with the aim of helping our Tax & Accounting professionals to provide exceptional client services. In order to strengthen this team, we are now looking for an energetic and passionate colleague.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • To closely follow-up new (tax and accounting) legislation, literature and case law;
  • To support our client facing professionals within the tax and accounting department in their daily activities, e.g. push relevant information to the teams and provide tax & accounting technical support;
  • To promote and facilitate a learning culture and a knowledge sharing environment;
  • To support our internal newsflash;
  • To support go-to-market initiatives (e.g. client alerts, brochures,…);
  • To explore and evaluate new technology and tools, and to promote best practices.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • a (bachelor or master) degree in accountancy or tax or in economics or law, with an additional accountancy or tax degree;
  • preferably between 5 years and more of experience in an accounting or tax function or in a legal or academic function with focus on tax & accounting;
  • excellent research, analyzing, writing, communication and planning skills;
  • an open mindset and you are a team player, committed & results-oriented.
