We’re hiring a Lab Technician for our Quality Department at Avery Dennison Performance Tapes in Turnhout, Belgium

Essential Job functions and responsibilities:

  • Issue sample plans & sample preparation for final inspection testing.
  • Inspection of raw materials, components, in-process and final products in accordance with approved SOPs, customer and regulatory requirements and develop certificates of analysis/conformance reports.
  • Supports the execution of the MSA and product audit plan.
  • Provide QA support during production activities.
  • Provide support in product complaint investigations / testing of non conforming product.
  • Calibration of test equipment and substrates in the QA lab and the QC labs in accordance with approved SOP’s.

Temporary position of 6 months

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical related field is a plus.
  • Understanding of ISO 13485 a plus.
  • Flexibility to manage changing activities / projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
