A global leader company active in Chemical industry, based in the Liège region is looking for a Lead E&I.

As a Lead E&I, you will develop& lead the Engineering & Construction projects within strategic and complex investments by acting as the main point of contact in the electrical and instrumentation field. In this role, you will report to the Head of Engineering Division.

As a Lead E&I you will be responsible for :

• Validate the study and analysis of preliminary investment projects (technical concept, budget and execution schedule);

• Ensure that the electrical studies are taken care of from design to commissioning, guaranteeing (in a spirit of safety, quality and cost) the reliable operation of all electrical installations for the annual investment projects;

• Ensuring the commissioning of projects until the closure of the files and their transfer to the relevant departments;

• Supervise the supply of documents, drawings and diagrams with the study office and draughtsmen;

• Development of procedures, technical specifications and technical standards to enhance the performance of the team.

The ideal candidate for the Lead E&I position will have a degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering with a Masters in Electrical & Instrumentation. You have at least 10 years of experience as an E&I design engineer in an industrial environment or in a design office. Experience in the chemical industry and in managing a team is required. Extensive knowledge of instrumentation and electricity (HV & LV) is required, knowledge of automation (PLC&DCS) is an asset. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Fluency in English and French is required.
