About The JobAs Logistics Manager Logistic Services you are responsible for all primary transport flows (including execution, truck composition), pallet management, execution of custom activities for plant based & dairy out of Rotselaar.You’ll be based in our offices in Zwevegem and get the opportunity to work from home regularly as well.In your role as Logistics Manager Logistic Services, you will be responsible
  • To define the strategy on primary transport & pallet management and system architecture for transport & warehousing in close cooperation with the warehouse managers of the Hubs in Belgium
  • Being the SPOC for control tower (transport management) / cycles & procurement on primary transport operations/ pallet management
  • Being the business partner for making budget (updates) for Belgian Hubs in close collaboration with warehouse managers, export manager and supply chain controlling
  • Responsible for performance/budget accountability of T1/pallet management
  • Manage productivity agenda/digital roadmap (while guaranteeing continuity) on logistic services
  • Set-up of new logistic flows for new products/countries/customers - management log. footprint changes - management of network optimizations (T1)
  • Initiating, participating and leading projects
  • Follow-up market evolutions/tendencies and anticipate
  • Pro-actively manage capacity T1 network
  • Search for continuous improvement initiatives in logistics T1 network
  • Management of consistent set-up systems BE Hubs
  • Management of audits with internal/external bodies on transport/pallet management activities
In this role you will report directly to the Head of Logistics BE Hub and you will be coaching a team of 4 direct reports.In this position you are as well in close contact with the 2 warehouse Hubs, Wevelgem and Rotselaar., working in close relationship with export management and warehouse managers.You will work closely with the overall supply chain team, operational logistic teams, local Sales teams, Logistic Controller, IT,… and externally with carriers, pallet suppliers…About YouYou have obtained a Master degree with a solid professional relevant experience in logistics. As our next Logistics Manager Logistics Services you are able to communicate fluently in English, Dutch is a plus!To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to
  • Be familiar with management of logistic processes (transport, pallets, customs) guaranteeing continuity of operations at the expected performance level within the budget constraints
  • Be enthousiastic, passionated with strong leadership & communication skills towards creating buy in of all relevant stakeholders
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and driving the performance / productivity agenda
  • Have the skill to lead multiple projects simultaneously, to establish and adapt to changing priorities
