Our client’s department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Analyst to strengthen one of their teams on the supply chain & logistics domain. The business applications are mainly mainframe and .NET (10%) related.

In this position:

  • You will be part of the local team responsible for managing, updating, and optimizing applications.
  • Bridging the gap between local and cross-functional applications, you will maintain close communication with cross-functional IT colleagues.
  • You’ll closely engage with customers from various logistics departments, clearly understanding their business requirements.
  • Analyzing functional queries and issues, you will translate them into software changes or enhancements.
  • Proficiency in reverse engineering to distill business logic from code will be essential.
  • You will oversee technical implementation and testing if carried out by a colleague.
  • Deploying software, monitoring its effective functioning, and providing operational support are part of the role’s responsibilities.
Profile

  • You possess strong analytical skills.
  • You have experience in larger (complex) organisations
  • You demonstrate an interest in the business aspects of software.
  • You have no problem with delving into the code (Mainframe, .NET, ...)
  • Creative thinking and an out-of-the-box approach characterize your problem-solving style.
  • Team collaboration is second nature to you.
  • You communicate proficiently in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain, as well as reverse engineering, is advantageous.
