Welcome to BASF Antwerp, the second largest production site of the BASF group, and the largest chemical company in Belgium. We are looking for a manager aniline & nitration technology who wants to be part of our fascinating company.

Your challenge

As Manager aniline & nitration technology, you are responsible for the support of the unit ISO global technology.

  • You will identify possibilities for improvement of CM ISO assets and support CM’s strategic decisions through analyzing of global internal and external benchmarks, supply contracts, industrial set-up of production plants,…
  • You will be active in gathering of competitive intelligence through internet searches, contacts with external service providers, governmental organizations, as well as the internal global BASF network.
  • Prepare evaluation of projects in R&D and assets and give recommendations to CM management.
Your profile
  • You have a University degree (Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering) and at least 10 years jobs experience (R&D, plant operations, engineering)
  • You are focused on process driven- and organizational improvement
  • You can work in an international environment having an open mindset towards different cultures and you are a real team player
  • You can defend your opinion in meetings with CM upper management
  • You have a passion for technology development
  • Preferably you have worked in different continents building good cultural awareness skills
