Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

Job Description :
Within our client’s Project Delivery Office department you will offer strategic advice and support with regard to the project portfolio. You will also be responsible for mapping resource management on these projects., and you will play an important role in the project portfolio tooling.

You will perform high level and strategic analyses. Depending on the needs and priorities, this can concern financial analyses, project evaluations, feasibility studies, etc.;
You will manage capacity and resource management within the department and - in collaboration with the other Manager(s) Resource Portfolio - within the organization;
You will provide strategic advice to management and you will act as a sounding board and sparring partner
You will provide advice to other executives within the organization;
You will provide standard and ad hoc reporting and you will create dashboards;
You will secure the (data) quality and the coherence of the responsibilities, activities and projects within the department;
You will act as owner of certain tools where necessary to ensure consistency and to enable improvements are realized;
You will follow up on strategic files and projects, you will monitor and evaluate those files and projects;
You will formulate initiatives and proposals to improve internal efficiency;
You will keep your own knowledge up-to-date and share it with other stakeholders.

Requirements :
You have a Master’s degree, or you are equivalent through relevant professional experience;
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an IT environment;
You have a strong analytical and conceptual thinking mindset;
You have knowledge of IT and business processes and procedures, you have knowledge of project management methodologies;
You have knowledge of current software, having knowledge of ServiceNow (ITBM) is an asset;
You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, having knowledge of PowerQuery and/or PowerBi is a plus;
You have active knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both orally and in writing.
