Your objective:

As a Manufacturing Leader, your mission is to ensure, in close collaboration with the Program Manager and the Technical Leader, the development and the production start of a new program until Serial Production Hand Over.

You will be the Industrial Project Leader of the program, fully in charge and responsible for all Industrial activities of a program (Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, NC programming, production…) until final customer delivery.

You will manage the industrial budget of the program and the integrated team in charge of the industrialization.

You will directly respond to the Program Manager of the program for all functional aspects and you will respond to the head of Industrialization for technical trades.

To fulfill this mission, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

• Be the industrial focal point of the Group for the Customer.
• Define the End-to End manufacturing process for the composite parts on a specific program
• Participate at the Joint Design Phase on the plateau to ensure concurrent engineering and guide the design team to perform design for manufacturing.
• Drive an integrated industrial team composed of different Manufacturing Engineers for composite parts manufacturing, Tooling Engineers, Quality Engineers and NC Programmers.
• Be responsible to manage the production operators dedicated to manufacturing process of the concerned work packages.
• Ensure the good industrialization of a new product and be able to prove that the product has achieved an efficient maturity level for transfer to serial production (QCD)
• Ensure a strong presence in the field to know our means of production, our processes, characteristics and capacities of our equipments to be able to drive the concurrent engineering and perform design for manufacturing.
• Be in charge of all industrial Dossiers for the work package. You will start with the production on the manufacturing and assembly line and follow the product until it reaches a very good level of industrialization for production.
• Be directly involved in the definition of the Quality Cost and Cycle requirements for the work packages.
• Be in charge of conducting technical analysis and propose solutions to potential corrective actions, non conformities, etc.
• Manage the technical modifications at Sonaca and on customer sites.

Skills:

• Engineering degree (Industrial Engineer) with mechanical or manufacturing discipline.
• Experience and knowledge on project management.
• Technical experience in production or industrialization. Preferably an experience related to composites materials or manufacturing process.
• Ability to utilize the following: Office suite, MS Project, Catia V5 (or other CFAO software) and you have a global experience of the Industrial IT;
• Must be able to manage a team to work into integrate projects, and possess good customer relations.
• Have the ability to motivate others and easily communicate instructions.
• Strong organizational skills are needed with a detailed, methodical approach.
• Candidate shall be able to acquire facts and make sound decisions.
• Must have a passport and be able to travel frequently within the framework of the development project. French and English languages are mandatory.
