Our MCI Brussels marketing team is now recruiting motivated students as of January 2022 for a six to twelve months internship.
The MCI Brussels marketing team helps associations (trade & professional associations) grow through:

• Integrated marketing communications from digital advertising to printed publications
• Content creation
• Analysis, monitoring and measuring
• Reputation/perception management
• Creation of customer experience
• Establishing of marketing partnerships
• Brand identity development and design

On a day-to-day basis the role of the Marketing & Communications Intern is responsible for a combination of Marketing & Graphic Design responsibilities such as:
Marketing:

• Contribute to the development of publications and websites of MCI clients
• Facilitate marketing campaigns
• Schedule meetings, create timelines, help plan events
• Write content for e-communications
• Coordinate with the clients to develop content to be disseminated online and offline
• Deliver high quality services to MCI clients by creating, launching, and monitoring Social Media campaigns
• Regular updates of client websites
• Coordination with outside agencies to deliver printed material for our clients as well as coordinating with third parties to create compelling visuals and other promotional material required

Graphic Design:

• Create and design print and digital materials
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines
• Update and adjust images
• Use graphic design software(s) and work with a wide variety of media
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to develop design concepts
• Assemble final presentation material for printing

Your profile

• You must be an EU citizen (or hold a valid VISA/permit for students from the UK, post Brexit requirements)
• You are available for at least 6 months, ideally 12 months
• You must be an undergraduate or student undertaking communications, brand, marketing and graphic design related studies and require an internship as a part of your course
• Fluency in English is a must
• Ideally fluency in a 2nd EU language

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Wordpress is a must
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, colour, and other graphic design fundamental

Remuneration:

• 700€ net housing allowance per month (for international students only)
• Public transport pass (STIB, value +/- €49.00 per month)
• In addition to the Belgian public holidays, an entitlement to 1 day paid leave per calendar month will be granted for the duration of the agreement. Should the student be working at MCI during the month of December, a number of days will be pre-allocated to the week between Christmas and New Year when the MCI Brussels office is officially closed.
