At Bayer Crop Science we shape the future of agriculture by offering our customers farming solutions including seed genetics, crop protection products and digital services. Managing this exciting portfolio mix in the product data domain will be your key responsibility as EMEA Master Data Specialist while covering business expectations. This will include mastering and co-creating best practice governance processes in the product data domain for both Europe and Africa. The context of this responsibility is a fast changing and innovative business environment driven by a leading company in digital transformation and considering data processes as a strategic competitive asset. You will partner operationally with diverse regional and global stakeholders within Supply Chain and beyond to understand and drive customer focused and business process driven data solutions. You will challenge status quo of data governance processes and manage areas of improvement. You will report directly to the Master Data Management Lead.

The EMEA Master Data team is part of the EMEA Supply Chain Excellence organization that is focused to co-create growth by bringing value, innovation and inspiration to every partner in the ecosystem.

Your tasks:

• Master operational data governance processes for entire product/service portfolio.
• Drive data quality, compliance and consistency with policies across a complex business systems landscape
• Build and maintain a service-oriented relationship with operational/business teams based upon collaboration, trust and expertise.
• Collaborate with process experts and business units to offer process driven data solutions.
• Create additional value by identifying areas for operational improvement, simplification or automation of data processes
• Ensure sustained governance of key knowledge to enable effective growth

Your profile:

• Affinity to handle and drive data as a key priority for business success
• Engaged to understand and analyze connection between data and business/systems process
• Ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple priorities
• Very good interpersonal skills with focus on English language in a multicultural environment
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft office
• Bachelor degree with work experience
• Looking back on a previous similar experience is a plus
