Amazon is seeking a technology leader to drive reliability and testing of a

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • Experience in Design for Reliability (DfR) for new product developments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (ASQ or TUV).Python for Data science is plus.
  • Experience as a Reliability Engineer or in a similar role
  • Develop engineering, design, and production verification test objectives based on the identified reliability risks and failure modes.
  • Proficient in reliability engineering principles, methods, and tools (e.g., Reliability prediction, FMEA, DOE, Weibull analysis)
  • Proven experience of manufacturing processes and their impact on product reliability
  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of chemistry and compounds used in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Experience in high-speed, high-technology design/manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with various PLM systems, specifically Compliance Modules
  • Well organized with good communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with materials testing, compliance and/or regulatory affairs experience
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, task driven team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
