About the role

Preparation of all bid documents for operations and ensuring optimal preparation for production:

A correct estimate of the operational costs of a project (coordination of production / TS / quality);
Drawing up and following up the planning method to ensure a timely start-up of the first vehicle in production;
Development of track occupation of the site and the macro layouts of the projects
Execution and elaboration of improvement analyses on the projects within a framework of continuous improvement.

Your Tasks

Bids operations

  • Quotation (input Blue Book) process operations -
  • Finding out information about the concept via Engineering (techn. Descriptions and lay-out diagrams);
  • Drawing up a Make or Buy list together with Procurement (doc 3);
  • Start up the BB database.
  • BB process in operations:
  • Coordinate the entire bidding operations process;
  • Elaborate with Technical Service - Production strategy (who-what-when-where-how);
  • Information - start-up - support - benching of all disciplines within operations for the Blue Book input;
  • Elaboration of a doc 6;
  • Calculate the hours of operations, learning curve together with Production;
  • Estimating the risks and quantifying them;
  • Prepare documents for BB input:
  • Complete input sheet;
  • Format Configuration Summary;
  • Format Manufacturing Strategy;
Layout management and property management:
  • Elaborate the Macro layout site based on product and project information;
  • Administration of track occupation and data real estate and land in REIS.
Method planning (Doc 16/17):
  • Drawing up method planning for new projects; to charge:
  • Align E-BOM / M-BOM;
  • Drafting of instructions;
  • Development and implementation of macro and micro layout;
  • Tooling;
  • Training of production;
  • Construction of the first carriage;
  • Follow-up of the method planning:
  • Preparing standard reports;
  • Track resource utilization;
  • Report regularly to coordinators and senior management;
  • Help solve bottlenecks;
Labor analysis:
  • Supporting the production teams to achieve their target;
  • Support TS method :
  • Passing on the new objectives to TS (inform);
  • Communication of bottlenecks to TS;
  • Pass on improvement opportunities to TS;
  • Having an input for the database through the elaboration of the recording .
Your Qualifications :
Min. 3 – 5 years in methods work or follow up in production works ;

Master Degree of Technical Engineering background;
Additional specialization (s): work analysis, Tempo Valuation, Lean principles, Project scheduling;
Work analysis according to the BTB concept;
Proprietary application software for time mapping and labor analysis, layout drawing packages.
Knowledge of Flemish and English mandatory;
