The opportunity

The Microsoft Video Conferencing (MVC) Product Manager oversees and owns Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) meeting hardware experience end to end. This includes roadmap, design (first of a kind), marketing, sales, adoption, operational quality, financial management, innovation, risk/security compliance, contract management, service delivery/engineering, product industrialization, stakeholder management and support. EY’s Virtual Meeting services will expand MTR devices to over 6000 meeting rooms in addition to other virtual meeting hardware such as phone and interactive whiteboards.

Your Key Responsibilities

The MVC Product Manager reports to the Virtual Meeting Experience Lead and:

• Directs all financial aspects of the MVC portfolio including annual budgeting, invoice checking and signoff, manage risks and opportunities.
• Partners with other Product Managers within EUTX to align product roadmaps and service and optimize overall user experience, directs the MVC strategy and product roadmap and oversees the team’s activities to meet deliverable dates for next generation services in accordance with best practices in the industry.
• Directs research and evaluation of the feasibility of any new technologies that may improve the products in the digital whiteboard space and other collaboration hardware.
• Acting Sponsor first of a kind delivery & proof of concept projects.
• Directs reporting of product utilization and continuously drives for improved adoption and user experience of the product and keeps an eye on total cost of ownership.
• Partners with the Service Adoption team to prepare business change material and product industrialization.
• Manages the vendor(s) and internal teams that support the MVC products to provide optimal service
• Directs & owns security and risk compliance for the product portfolio

• Brings proven expertise of product management which encompasses financial management, service delivery as well as marketing/sales.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Management
• Experience:
• Experience in product management and/or global team management role

Desirable Technical Skills

• Experience with MTR devices or Microsoft Surface Hubs

• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, In-tune Management and UC cloud platforms
