Therefore we are looking for technical solution experts who understand the financial business requirements from an end to end perspective, turn ideas into projects and implement them technically.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Your goal will be to elevate daily finance processes to the next level of digitalization
  • You will be responsible for developing new services, solutions and platforms that enhance the digital capabilities of our finance functions
  • As a technical solution expert you are expected to closely collaborate with our customer Corporate Finance to understand their specific requirements and challenges
  • By leveraging your technical expertise, you will evaluate these requirements in the context of our broad tech portfolio and efficiently implement solutions that meet both functional and technical needs
  • You will analyze the current end to end processes, identify areas for optimization, design and implement innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions that increase efficiency and productivity of the Digital Finance Workplace
  • You will leverage data-driven insights to support financial decision-making and drive continuous improvement in finance functions

  • You have a university degree in business informatics, computer science, physics or a comparable education resp. many years of professional experience
  • You have a solid background and many years of programming experience in Information Technology, especially machine learning, natural language processing and applying large language models
  • The required skill set includes:

    o Programming Languages: A strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python
    o Machine Learning and NLP Fundamentals: An advanced understanding of machine learning and natural language processing concepts. This includes the knowledge of algorithms, statistical models, and techniques used in NLP tasks like text classification, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and part-of-speech tagging
    o Deep Learning and Neural Networks: You should be familiar with deep learning principles and neural network architectures including attention mechanisms, encoder-decoder frameworks, and self-attention
    o GPT Models and Language Generation: Comprehensive knowledge of GPT models, particularly those implemented by OpenAI like GPT-3, GPT-4, etc., is necessary. The understanding the underlying architecture, pre-training, fine-tuning, and generation processes of GPT models will help in effectively utilizing them for NLU tasks
    o Azure Machine Learning: Proficiency in using Azure Machine Learning services is important for deploying and managing NLU models. Familiarity with Azure ML components such as workspaces, experiments, model deployment, and pipeline creation are beneficial for working in an Azure environment
    o Data Preprocessing and Cleaning: Experience in handling text data, performing tokenization, removing noise, handling missing values, and addressing data quality issues is important for preparing the data to train and fine-tune GPT models
    o Evaluation and Metrics: Understanding the metrics used to evaluate NLU models is important. Metrics such as precision, recall, F1 score, perplexity, and BLEU score should be familiar to assess the performance of NLU models
    o Version Control and Collaboration: Proficiency in version control systems like Git and collaboration platforms like GitHub is essential for efficient teamwork, code sharing, and tracking changes in the codebase
  • You have a solid know-how and many years of experience in end to end finance processes
  • Excellent process and data flow know-how with understanding the underlying data models and data sources relevant for finance processes
  • Strong digitalization background, e.g. in process automation, AI and make value out of data
  • Well-grounded experience in requirements engineering, solution design and implementation combined with a strong customer orientation
  • Analytical and creativity thinking to handle newly unexpected emerging topics
  • Fluency in English (C1), German is optional and welcome
