Our Position
The Operational Excellence & Transformation Manager is a strategic and hands-on change leader who can design and drive a broad transformation program. This role is crucial in embedding Lean and TPM principles into the DNA of our organization and in building a proprietary operational framework that supports Nitto’s long-term strategy around quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You will take the lead in building a high-performance culture across both business process and operational domains in a complex, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will report directly to the Managing Director of Nitto Belgium.
Transformation Leadership
- Define the vision and roadmap for Operational Excellence, based on Lean and TPM methodologies.
- Lead, coach, and empower cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and sustainable improvements.
- Drive high-impact transformation projects that elevate people, processes, and product quality.
- Optimize resources and foster a culture of structured problem-solving and ownership.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Identify and eliminate waste across business processes using lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Jidoka, Heijunka, …).
- Define new performance standards and KPIs to measure progress and achieve multi-year goals.
- Anchor improvements through coaching, training, and governance.
- Extensive experience leading transformation programs in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth expertise in Lean and TPM methodologies.
- Solid background in strategic management.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing proprietary systems and improving business processes.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a focus on developing people and teams.
