Functieomschrijving:
As Operations Manager you have the following responsibilities:
Operations
  • Managing, organising and optimising an established Injection Moulding-, Assembly-
and Packaging for food Industry.
o Responsible for the development and performance of the production to produce efficient production and delivery solutions, maximising performance and profitability against pre-agreed targets
o Ensuring that the teams understands that the organisation’s profits are reflected in all its activities – including relationship and risk management
o Responsibility to adhere to budget and plans to maximise profitability
o Meet your targets and those of the team and organisation
o Smooth running of the team and organisation as a whole
o Achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organisation plans
  • Contribute to the growing business and give the necessary strategic insights to determine and implement the production system
  • Establish already defined KPI’s with the new ERP-system
Maintenance
  • Implement best practise of intelligent maintenance system (IMS) that utilizes collected data from machinery in order to predict and prevent potential failures in them. In order to avoid failures, there needs to be a system which analyses the behaviour of the machine and provides alarms and instructions for preventive maintenance
Continuous Improvement
  • Create a systematic Continuous Improvement mentality to guarantee the ongoing improvement of products, services or processes through incremental and breakthrough improvements.
Potential to manage/skills
  • Project oriented technical/commercial Sales with customised products
  • Integrated supply chain incl. Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Transport
  • HR & Finance with double reporting line to the division
  • Standardisation/Digitalisation of lean processes
The person we are looking for is also the replacement for the managing director in his absence and within the framework of succession planning.

  • Maturity in described areas with emotional Intelligence to manage experienced people In change process
  • Change where change is needed while maintaining established strengths
  • Takeover of already launched change processes without reinventing the wheel
  • Identifying/ using new opportunities to standardise-digitalise processes with process owner
  • Introduction of Best In Class methodologies, concepts without losing experts, while keeping them motivated
  • Pushing people out of their long term established comfort zone/routines without creating blocking fears
  • Active coaching/developing of different characters
