Within Akkodis we are looking for a Packaging engineer for one of our clients in the region of Beerse. Our client is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases.

Packaging Materials investigator and root cause problem solver

The position:

The position will be part of the Packaging team and has the mission to:

  • Act as SPOC for all issues with incoming packaging materials and production.
  • Perform root cause problem solving on all occurring issues.
  • Closely collaborate with the relevant suppliers.
  • Partner and lead multidisciplinary investigations with our other functions (QA, QC, Buying, External Quality) to align on mitigation plans and timings.
  • Develop solutions and improvement plans for our packaging materials.
  • Support and execute investigations within Operations (production).

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task on different projects and set priorities to achieve all deadlines at quality.
  • Being agile when priorities need to be reset.
  • Ability to work independently and successfully under minimal supervision and integrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic personality, team player, with a desire to learn new skills.
  • Being able to manage shifting priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment.
  • Flexible mindset capable to deal with ambiguity and to respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to changes.
  • Positive and pro-active attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical mind, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Being able to trouble shoot and resolve complex scientific/technical problems.
  • Clear communicator with ability to build strong partnerships.
  • Dutch/English
