The Patient relations Manager is responsible for making ViiV´s patient affairs strategy relevant for Belgium and implementing it.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive our mission of leaving no person living with HIV behind. Act with integrity and with respect for our external and internal regulations
• Be the first point of contact for HIV patient advocacy groups (PAGs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) in Belgium
• Participate in PAG- and community activities (meetings, discussions, advisory boards...) to further understand the challenges that people living with HIV are currently facing
• Support the empowerment of people living with HIV through collaboration with PAGs as well as throughout multiple channels, such as digital and social media
• Identify, initiate, implement and follow-up of projects supporting the reach of the UNAIDS targets
• Develop, brief and coordinate digital tactics with internal and external agencies
• Manage PAG grants
• Close cooperation with ViiV Europe Patient Affairs teams to ensure strategic alignment and exchange best practices
  

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• University degree in related field (human science; public affairs or similar)
• Experience in healthcare industries; ideally in the area of patient relations
• Good knowledge of the rules and regulations within the pharmaceutical industry
• Deep understanding of the field of HIV; especially the organization of community support and patient organizations
• Solid experience in digital media and communication
• Proven track record of effective project management skills
• Business fluent in Dutch, French and English

• Good communicative and social competencies
• Team player; familiar with cross-functional workstreams
