Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Performance Management Lead for Epilepsy/Rare, who is passionate leader to join us in the Intercontinental Insights to Impact (I2I) Patient Impact Organization, based in Belgium.

About The Role

You will develop a deep understanding of the ecosystems in Epilepsy/Rare diseases and develop actionable insights that can be undertaken by the team, to improve outcomes and experiences for the specific patient sub-populations that may benefit most from UCB’s solutions.

The intercontinental region includes the Americas (excluding the US), the Middle East, and Asia Pacific and countries like Japan, China, Turkey, with affiliates and partners across these areas.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll work in close collaboration with the Patient Impact Regional Operations Team of Epilepsy/Rare in charge of the intercontinental region and the central supporting team, in the area of reporting and data management and advanced analytics, market research (Patient Evidence).

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a deep ecosystem understanding through cultivating a thorough understanding of the Epilepsy/Rare disease ecosystems across the Intercontinental region (including the Americas, Middle East, and Asia Pacific). This understanding is essential for generating actionable insights to improve patient outcomes and experiences, particularly for those sub-populations that would benefit most from UCB’s solutions.
  • Articulate and implement a data and analytics vision, by leading the integration of financial, operational, digital, and marketing dimensions into a cohesive data and analytics strategy. Collaborating with local and regional stakeholders to ensure this vision aligns with strategic imperatives and is effectively implemented across different ecosystems.
  • You’ll drive data-driven decision making by facilitating authentic stakeholder discussions, leveraging analytics to support decision-making processes, especially in areas like launch preparation, performance management, and campaign management. Promote the adoption of centrally managed analytics solutions (e.g., Qlik) to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Supporting Launch Readiness and Go-to-Market Strategies to contribute to the development of launch readiness strategies for Rare disease brands. Engage in optimizing Go-to-Market strategies through targeting, segmentation, field-force optimization, and digital business transformation analytics.
  • You’ll conduct performance management and business reviews to support performance management and business review meetings with insights and analytics. Contribute to the creation and monitoring of cross-functional KPIs and performance indicators to track progress toward strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Stimulating innovation and holistic Insights by encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and holistic insights generation by leveraging strong business acumen and expertise, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the data and its implications.

Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience and skills.

  • At least 10 years of experience in consultancy, pharmaceuticals or healthcare sector of which at least 3 years focus in data & analytics.
  • Masters Degree (or equivalent) in biotechnology, industrial economics, financials or medical related university degree.
  • Working experience in analytics in context of Go to Market initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical data landscape (e.g. commercial, medical, patient databases).
  • You’ll have strong analytical and problem solving skills and will possess or be eager to establish, an external network of people active in data, analytics, advanced analytics and digital technologies.
