For PolymerTeam, a company within our H.Essers Family Office, we are looking for a Plant Manager.

YOUR CHALLENGES

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our production site. In this role, you will be pivotal in coordinating and optimizing production processes, managing logistics and maintenance activities, and directing investments in industrial/technological equipment. You will ensure that all processes run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. In addition, you will be responsible for work force management and coordinating related planning and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Workforce management: managing the employees in the plant, including managing workforce planning and ensuring optimal work distribution

• Production management: managing the daily production processes and establishing the related planning and procedures. You will ensure that production is carried out according to set standards and deadlines

• Industrial/technological investments: analyze and propose investment proposals for the acquisition of new industrial and technological equipment to improve production capacity and efficiency

• Maintenance management and planning: ensure effective maintenance of machinery and equipment, including preparing maintenance schedules and coordinating execution to minimize downtime

• Logistics: coordinating internal logistics, including managing inventory, transportation and timely supply of raw materials and distribution of finished goods

• Reporting and administration: maintaining production-related documentation, reports and records in accordance with internal procedures and legal requirements

• Quality and safety management: ensuring compliance with safety and environmental legislation and implementing quality improvements

YOUR TALENTS

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the recycling industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated experience in production management, work force management and logistics

• Experience managing maintenance schedules and implementing industrial/technological investments

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams

• In-depth knowledge of production planning, processes and procedures

• Strong communication skills and experience in managing administrative and reporting processes

• Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation within the manufacturing industry

• A technical or industrial education is a plus
