The R&D Pipeline Project & Resource Management Center of Excellence (PPRM CoE) is set up to provide a state-of-the-art project and resource management infrastructure, ensuring that we have accurate project management data to enable data-driven decisions in the execution of GSK’s R&D strategy.

The PPRM CoE Systems team is responsible for the administration of Project Management software systems. Administration responsibilities include licensing and access management, support and training, and working with our R&D Tech colleagues to plan, execute, and test system installations and upgrades, etc. This team is also responsible for the quality of the data within the systems and ensuring that data can be integrated across PPRM source systems for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities Include

The PPRM CoE System Integration Manager role is to serve as our subject matter expert to provide project teams business and technical knowledge surrounding PPRM software systems and data.
  • Understand PPRM and related business processes to drive utilization of project and resource data for data-driven decision-making
  • Understand PPRM and related business data to provide guidance on data integration and system integration activities
  • Lead the development of system integration and data integration solutions
  • Develop process maps to document PPRM data and system processes
  • Collaborate with PPRM CoE Systems Support Team and R&D Tech to troubleshoot system integration and data integration issues
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of system integration or data integration experience
  • Project management experience and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience using these software (Planisware, Project Data Manager, Effort Tracking, Hyperion, CERPS, etc.)
  • Experience managing vendor relations (i.e. contract negotiations, license management, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to lead the development of new solutions to meet changing expectations
  • Ability to resolve problems with thoughtful use of data, knowledge, information and networks in a flexible way and to be successful in a matrix environment encouraging an enterprise thinking mind set
  • Understanding of databases, SQL, software systems, and the data flow between systems
  • Strong knowledge of the drug and vaccine discovery process
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, to develop credibility with colleagues within and outside GSK
  • Highest standard of data integrity, complinace and quality mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills are essential
