In order to support our sustainable development of our Service plan portfolio, the Compressor Technique Service division is looking for a Pricing analyst Service plans.To assure the pricing of all products of CTS going from spare parts, Fix price, Service plans and the new performance-based contracts are aligned and consistent, it was decided to create a new function within the pricing team which will be focusing on the pricing of the service plan portfolio.As pricing analyst for service contracts, it will be your responsibility to develop and enroll a global pricing strategy using a value-based approach respecting the strategy of the different service products.Training and implementation of this new pricing model in customer centers is part of the job to assure a more standard and more efficient way of pricing of complex products like service plans.The indexation process of our contracts is a crucial part of this which is paramount in securing our profitability level.This is a crucial position in the CTS pricing / marketing organization. You will work closely together with the colleagues of the pricing team, product managers (CTS and Equipment divisions), finance, data analytics team, CPQ team, CTS Operations, etc.In your role you will report to the CTS Pricing ManagerMain Responsibilities
  • Analyze and provide insights in pricing of service contracts
  • Develop pricing reports to follow up the pricing of service contracts
  • Ensure Contract price indexation is performed in the Customer centers by setting up the correct process and follow-up. Ensure contract price increases can be measured.
  • Ensure we retrieve the right market data and feedback on market prices from customer center
  • Work in conjunction with the Product Managers of service contracts to develop a new pricing model for our Service plans in order to gain sales efficiencies and be ready for new sales processes (e-commerce)
  • Implement together with the operations team the new pricing model in our quotation platforms for service contracts
  • Create trainings and support customer centers in implementing the new pricing model in the local systems with the focus on a more standard and more efficient way of pricing of complex products like service plans
  • Interact with the other members of the Pricing Team to align pricing strategies across the complete CTS portfolio
  • Identify areas for price correction and improvement with respect to profit growth division
  • Support product managers of service contracts with respect to pricing of service plans
  • Based on the agreed SP pricing strategy align and follow up this pricing with other divisions (AIRplan, SP pricing vs equipment pricing)
Experience Requirements
  • Commercial or marketing experience in either service or equipment
  • Be familiar with finance and IT tools (Preferably with CPQ, C4C, SAP ACT)
  • Technical knowledge on compressors is a benefit. Certainly, the aspects affecting the service cost and price.
Educational Requirements
  • The successful candidate holds a university degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Economy, Engineering ...) or equal by experience
  • Fluency in English is a must, other languages a plus.
