What will you do ?

As a process engineer you are responsible for several continuous improvement projects on existing value streams (logistics, assembly lines, painting, …) to increase capacity, improve efficiency, reduce throughput time (QRM)…
Next to that you will take the lead in the setup of the value stream for the assembly of the new electrified transmissions. You will strictly monitor the overall planning and budget with a continuous focus on safety and quality.
You take the lead to implement innovations (Industry 4.0, AGV, Cobots, …)
On a daily base you will work together with your production, quality, maintenance and R&D colleagues.
You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering manager

What technical background and skills do you need for this role ?

You have a master’s degree in electromechanical engineering.
You have experience with Continuous Improvement activities (Lean, QRM…) and change management in a production environment.
You are a hands-on and all-round engineer who works analytically, accurately, qualitatively and project-based.
You have a helicopter view and you quickly see the links between different parts of the process
You take initiative, act in a problem-solving & persistent manner and can independently carry out assignments & projects from concept to implementation.
As a real team player you have strong communication skills. You communicatee clearly with your colleagues in Production, Maintenance, Quality as well as with the different suppliers and subcontractors.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
You are willing to occasionally travel for shorter periods
Several years of experience in a similar technical environment is a plus.
