Job purpose:
Process Support Manager is responsible for:
Management of complex issues in production with different departments (problem solving session)
Participate and coordinate continuous improvement projetcs
Back up of production manager if needed
Your responsibilities:
In this role you,
Ensure that continuous improvement and lean management initiatives are identified and implemented
Act as a fronter and a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the activities performed in its unit during internal and external regulatory inspections
Optimise processes organisations and procedures to create high performing team
Manage the implementation of transversal project for the process department.
Potential Supervise / manage day to day production operations and ensure adherence to production plan,
Back up production manager (Lead a team of technicians/operators (< 15 FTE) and collaborate with production colleagues)
Act as a key interlocutor in your discipline between the manufacturing Unit and other services (as BeEM / Supply / QC / QA / RA)
Coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, security and simplification
Apply the recommended processes and anticipate potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures
Represent your activities in internal and external audits/inspections
Organize and monitor performance progress efficiency of the facility through Key Performance Indicators related to Security, Quality, Budget and Delivery.
The Process Support Manager is part of the Production Team and reports to the Head of Process where there are several independent production streams (Media Preparation, cell and viral culture and purification/inactivation).
The Head of Production can delegate partly its activities to the Process Support Manager in case of leave.
Why you?Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Bio Engineering, Science-related (Chemistry, etc.)
At least 5 years’ experience in vaccine industry including knowledge of aseptic production technologies and logistic department
Fluent in English and French
Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set
Strong planification and organisational skills
Able to adapt to changing assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
Experience in process support, e.g. Process Expert role on the shopfloor of vaccines manufacturing and/or QA/QC.
Proven process understanding (Vaccines, GMP, Regulatory aspects).
Used to work in cross functional working teams
Good communication skills
Experience in a leadership role (team of minimum 10 FTE i.e. experienced and autonomous technical profiles)
Must have enough technical basis to understand and analyse business context, manufacturing processes and technologies and engage its team
Expertise in validation, knowledge of International standards (CFR and Eudralex), GMP and Regulatory
