ABOUT THE ROLE

Management of contracts of services, components and good supply:
Setup of Service Level Agreements;
Supply cost optimalisation;
Relationship management with service providers and suppliers;
Follow up of contracts and negotiate adjustments to the contract where required;

Evaluation of the current supplier portfolio and investigation of the market for second source, substitutes, or alternative suppliers;
Obtain technical know-how on the issues EEVE encounters with purchased components, in function of:
Having the ability to hold, guide and follow in depth conversations with the suppliers;
Assisting in the composition of specifications (in cooperation with device engineering);

Management and optimalisation of the currently existing purchasing processes;
Designing and implementing a global and scalable procurement process;
Follow up of annual, 6m and 3m planning cycles and synchronize purchase rhythm on this. Consult with inventory management.
Assist with ad-hoc projects such as:
the roll-out of the MRP system;
organization of deep dives in critical supply items to enhance impactful decisions.

WHO YOU ARE

You have a master degree in Engineering, supply chain or Economics or equivalent by experience;
You have a technicaland* commercial background*;
You have excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French, German and/or Mandarin is a big plus;
You are eager to deep dive and identify gaps;
You are a problem solver and can make intuitive and logical decisions;
You are a self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
