Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Procurement Specialist who is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative to join our local Supply Chain team, based in our campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage raw material supply for our manufacturing site in collaboration with our Planning team. You will ensure strong relationships with our suppliers and resolve quality issues. You will also support and lead projects to improve our supply chain processes and optimize the lifecycle of our products.
Who You Will Work With
You will collaborate with a dynamic team within the Supply Chain department.
Together, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Global Supply Chain, QA, QC, Global Procurement, IT, Finance, and Manufacturing. You will also interact with suppliers and other UCB sites.
What You Will Do
- You manage purchase orders from requisition to invoice validation.
- You maintain and validate master data in collaboration with Genpact.
- You manage supplier quality investigations and deviations.
- You coordinate business review meetings with Global Procurement.
- You monitor operational KPIs and ensure compliance with GXP norms.
- You lead and support global supply transformation projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of SAP (MM module as minimum requirement, other like SD, PP-PI, WM, BI are +) and supply chain processes.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Excellent communication and priority management skills.
- Problem-solving oriented with a hands-on mentality.
