Job Description:

Within the EBU Enterprise Solutions & Platforms (ESP) department, we are looking for an

experienced Product Manager who will further develop and enhance our upcoming Sovereign.

Cloud portfolio towards the B2B market. You will join the chapter on Cloud & Security Products and

Solution Managers and work with other colleagues from the team in a squad assigned to the

Sovereign Cloud activities.

What makes the job attractive?

Sovereign Cloud is a relatively new solution in the market, which is being developed by several parties worldwide. The big hyper scalers know they need to answer European laws (GDPR, Privacy Shield, Schrems II-III, …) and local legislation. They are creating alternative solutions to deliver on these requirements but also look at the partner landscape to further enrich the services.

The goal is to support corporate customers in their Digital Transformation journey. We adopt a

public cloud-first strategy, assisting our customers from the cloud discovery phase to the

migration to the Sovereign Cloud and offering managed services on top of that. We ensure customers can rely on future-proof solutions (automation, orchestration, software-defined,

edge computing...) that will support their business growth.

Skills and Experience:

· Applicants for this position should hold at least a master’s degree in ICT or CS domains and have

+10 years of relevant working experience in a Cloud domain.

· Having recent certifications in the Public Cloud domain is considered a strong asset. Azure

knowledge is mandatory, while knowledge of Google, AWS, and VMware is considered a plus.

· You have proven experience in Agile methodologies, Service management frameworks and

Security Governance Practices.

· You’re a business owner, driving your portfolio to achieve growth, leveraging your business

development skills. You have good financial skills, as you’re in charge of the P&L of the solution (Capex, Opex, Revenues, Profitability, …).

· You approach the customer needs from a business mindset, and steer away from technology-based solutions. You understand the vertical E2E solutions that our customers need and care about the context you’re working in.

· You look for opportunities and are not afraid to challenge the expected or break taboos.

Generic duties and responsibilities of a product manager:

· Identify the market needs and the customer’s business requirements in a solution/design,

making sure that budget and timing are respected.

· Manage the development of new solutions with other internal stakeholders: Procurement,

engineering, legal, marketing, operations, customer support, sales, presales…

· Manage the lifecycle of the solution within Agile product teams, enriching or out-phasing them.

· Collaborate with the go-to-market plan and develop sales documentation (contractual document,

product pages, presentations, ...).

· Actively evangelize the solution within the organization and (when needed) to customers (via

events, marketing actions, customer visits, training for sales, blog posts, …).

· Ensure the financial and operational follow-up of your solutions (P&L, budget, funnel, KPIs

reporting) and ownership of the Operational plan for your solutions and the 3-year plans

(Strategic vision).

· Support to sales and presales thanks to value proposals, sales pitches, demos, and customer

visits.

· Support on offers or RFPs when needed (P&L, discount strategy, specific aspects). Listening to

customers’ needs to improve your solution.

· Maintain a close relationship with the vendors and 3rd parties (stay aware of the technological

evolution, market trends, issues escalation, price negotiation, work on contracts with

procurement, define joint sales actions, follow up incentives and back-end rebates…). You

translate this into added-value features for your solution.
