The Role

We are looking for a new global Product Marketing Manager responsible for Pipeline (outlets, zone valves, alarms and manifolds) and Patient Environment (SOT, Bedheads and Pendants).

As a Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible to develop your product line in a sustainable profitable way by creating customer value in line with the strategy of the Division. The mission is two-fold: you will (a) develop and maintain an innovative product roadmap resulting in an ambitious product development pipeline and a competitive offer and (b) define and support the global implementation of the sales channels to our chosen markets.

You will report the Vice President Marketing of the Division.

What we expect of you?

You will have the following strategic / tactical tasks
  • Develop and implement a Global Product Strategy for your product line. The product roadmap should ensure that we have a competitive and innovative product portfolio supporting the value proposition for our Brand portfolio
    • Initiate new product development projects in the various Product Companies
    • Challenge the organization to increase the innovative content in your product portfolio. Innovate in the areas of product features, product cost, way to market, etc…
  • Develop and implement a Global Marketing Plan for your product range.
    • This includes a global pricing strategy
  • Develop and implement a global communication plan in close cooperation with the communications team
  • Develop and implement a global training plan for your product range in close cooperation with the Competence Development Specialist
  • Business Development: find and develop new areas for the sales of your product line
  • Understanding of medical standards applicable to your product range: NFPA, HTM, ISO, …
You will have the following operational tasks
  • Maintenance of the list prices and discount structure for your product range (using our Global Quote System GQS)
  • Support Customer Centers in large projects / tenders / orders
  • Ensure that Customer Centers develop the right channels to market and support with product trainings
  • Join sales engineers and distributors in selected sales visits to keep a close interaction and feeling with our customers and their needs
  • In close cooperation with the communications team, you will define the key sales arguments and marketing messages for your product line
  • Lead the organization of product launches with strong support of the communications team and the factory product managers
  • Analysis of our competitor’s product portfolio and continuously look for opportunities to extend our offer
  • Visit and participate in selected product shows and fairs
  • Actively contribute to product and sales trainings for your product range
You will have the following project management tasks
  • Actively contribute to PCMs and PSMs and safeguard that the marketing related deliverables are delivered
  • Attend PTMs on a need-to basis (to assist the Factory Product Manager when needed)
We are looking for a dynamic professional with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and systems
  • Knowledge of the Business Code of Practice and The Way We Do Things
This role will require frequent global travel.

A strong knowledge of English is a requirement.
