A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Product Owner to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in finance and in business analysis, you will play a key role within the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Product Owner will include:

  • Analyse and understand the different needs of the Finance Business team
  • Challenge and prioritise the development requests
  • Coach the Finance team to improve their efficiency in the design of solutions
  • Help the Finance team clarify their needs by drafting user stories
  • Make sure you follow-up on the implementation of the solutions requested

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Finance, Business administration or Management
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within an insurance company
  • You are fluent in English, and have a knowledge of French and/or Dutch
  • You have a good knowledge of IFRS17 and Solvency II

Your strengths:

  • You can work independently
  • You communicate easily with stakeholders and are assertive
  • You have organised
  • You have an affinity for transformation and change, you want to make an impact
  • You have an affinity for IT topics
  • You can communicate clearly and easily to senior management
  • You are familiar with Agile
