Production Engineer

Our client is a family business that has been in existence for over 60 years. A very reputable company, within the Chemical industry.

Today they are looking for a Production Engineer who will be responsible for helping solve technical and quality issues related to the design and operation of a chemical processing plant.

• Assess and optimize plants to achieve safe and stable operation at the lowest cost.
• Actively participate in initiatives to increase plant efficiency and propose and perform tests to increase production capacity, produce new products or start up new plants.
• Continuously monitor and improve finished product quality according to all product specifications.
• Encourage and control safe and environmentally conscious production and maintenance operations according to management requirements of quality, environment, energy and safety to prevent accidents/incidents.
• Calculate and evaluate the merits of projects to ensure profitability of investments. Keeping abreast of new process technologies to improve the performance of production facilities.

• Preferably 4-8 years work experience in a chemical plant environment (similar).
• Knowledge of chemical process techniques - management techniques.
• Knowledge of Dutch and English required.

• An annual salary between 65,000 to 75,000 EUR, depending on the experience you bring with you
