Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm, providing comprehensive services for the construction industry. They have an in-house team of experienced architects and engineers.

With over 50 years of experience, the company employs around 70 people, and is currently led by the second generation. To continue their growth, they are seeking an architect with experience in non-residential or industrial building projects.

The role:

• Shaping innovative designs for primarily commercial and industrial buildings, including interior layouts.
• Transforming conceptual ideas into finalized, actionable designs.
• Handling the preparation and submission of building permit applications.
• Creating precise cost estimations and tender documentation for project execution.
• Coordinating with structural and technical engineering teams to achieve a cohesive design outcome.
• Actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of architects and BIM specialists (around 10 members) to bring projects to life.

Your profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• You demonstrate a strong focus on understanding and translating the client’s vision and needs.
• You possess excellent knowledge of Belgian spatial planning regulations.
• You show a keen interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• You have a genuine enthusiasm for innovation and sustainable design.
• You are an effective communicator, fluent in Dutch and/or English.
• You are a proficient in design and presentation techniques to develop architectural and technical concepts.
