A supplier of food processing machines, based in the South of Anwterp, is currently on the search for a Project Engineer - Food Processing. The company is well known for upgrading or replacing old installations an proposing tailor-made solutions to their clients. You will part of the Engineering department within a team of 3 people.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer - Food Processing will be responsible for:

  • Conducting an assessment on the site of the client
  • Developing the right solution for their production following the assessment and according to their needs
  • Drawing up design plans in line with the machine measurements and the space available on the client site
  • Doing estimates on production flow
  • Following-up the design with a step-by-step implementation process
  • Working closely with the team on site for the new installations and assuring yourself everything is working correctly;

The ideal candidate is required to have at least an academic bachelor’s degree in Electro-mechaincal Engineering, coupled with around 2 to 5 years of experience in the food processing, pharmaceutical or chemical industry.

For this Project Engineer - Food Processing opportunity fluency in Dutch is a must.

You will be part of a close and hands-on team. They are looking for someone with a team spirit, autonomous & can do attitude and someone who is solutions oriented. It is an opportunity to develop you organisational skills, on top of learning to be a business partner and a consultant to your client when it comes to their production.
