And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.In our Site in Verviers, Belgium | Lonza we are looking for a Project Manager Operation (PMO) to coordinate and implement the non-engineering operations project pipeline in Verviers operations, including selected local initiatives and alignment with Biosciences projects.This position drives the development and implementation of the Verviers operations strategy process and implements an appropriate governance structure for key projects.He/she leads specific strategic projects as well as oversees the total of all key projects in the site to drive business results. He/she also drives or acts as representative in specific network initiatives.The position will require ability to facilitate discussions with Global and Local counterparts as well as external customers, as needed.Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordination and implementation of local technical operations projects as well as local initiatives to drive mid- to long-term impact
• Responsible to develop, coordinate and lead execution of critical improvement projects which increase profitability and support the delivery of our growth strategy. Is key central contact for those projects.
• Oversees global initiatives and ensures their correct prioritization at the site level.
• Works in close contact with all teams to make recommendations to improve the cost efficiency, effectiveness, quality and safety of processes in place.
• Drive strategy process together with site lead and OE manager to transform the business goals into an operations strategy including definition of main projects, key performance indicators, achievement of milestones, and reporting structure. Ensure alignment with key stakeholders in the business unit and in corporate functions

Key Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in scientific field
• 2 - 5 years of experience in Project Management or PMO role
• Experience in GMP regulated manufacturing environment
• Lean Six Sigma, Lean Green Belt Certifications will be preferred
• MS Office Suite, MS Project, Asana, Tableau etc. know how
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies
• Experience with cost, budget and financial aspects of project management
• Fluent in French and English
