To strengthen our QA Systems & Continuous Improvement (S&CI) Team, basedin Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium), we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: QA Systems Officer

General QA

According to the Associate Director’s instructions, QA S&CI team organization and in cooperation with Braine Technical Operations (BTO) and related supporting services, the main responsibilities of the position of QA Systems Officer are:

• Promote Quality and Operational Excellence and cultivate “Quality Culture”, “Compliance Awareness”, “Continuous Improvement Attitude” & “Accountability Culture” across the UCB teams.
• Drive Quality Leadership on Quality & Compliance Strategy and interact with other functional areas to effectively communicate system & process requirements.
• Maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System and related processes.
• Ensuring continued compliance of the QMS to applicable regulations and guidelines, UCB Corporate Policies & Procedures, UCB objectives, plans and projects.
  

Documentation Management Processes, Systems And Operations

• Support Braine Technical Operations organization in establishing an effective and efficient Document Management Systems (DMS & eDMS) (serving both local & global needs) and related processes.
• Maintain and continuously improve the DMS/eDMS and related processes, both local and global.
  

Training Management Processes, Systems And Operations

• Support Braine Technical Operations organization in establishing an effective and efficient Learning Management Systems (LMS & eLMS) (serving both local & global needs) and related processes.
• Maintain and continuously improve the LMS/LMS and related processes, both local and global.
• Ensure adequate coaching and training of all relevant stakeholders to ensure:
• optimized effectivity of cGMP documentation (readability)
• optimized effectivity of Documentation Lifecycle Management Processes
• optimized effectivity of workforce Training & Education through coaching on Good Practices (promote use of certification & coaching Programs and classroom training on critical activities)
  

Risk Management And Mitigation Processes, System And Operations

• Establishing and maintain an effective and efficient quality risk management process in accordance with Global QA guidance and other business risk management processes.
• Member of BTO Risk Committee to lead the review and escalation of BTO’s risks.
  

Continuous Improvement

• Drive the identification of opportunities or improvement.
• Develop, drive and/or implement quality improvement and operational excellence projects in response to business requirements, observed issues, technical changes, identified risks, audit observations and changing regulatory requirements.
  

Digitalization:participation to the Digitalization Improvement Program.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• Master’s Degree preferred (Bachelor’s Degree with significant experience may be sufficient).
• Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment OR other life science OR health related fields is mandatory.
• Experience in Quality & Compliance and worldwide regulations pertaining to cGMP regulations is required.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and Auditing is an asset.
• Affinity with IT systems.
• Very good command in French AND English (both written and spoken).
