We are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer who is passionate about food quality and compliance to join our client, a market-leading company. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance while working in a nice, family-like atmosphere. Responsibilities

– Prepare and implement ingredient declarations while contributing to the automation of the process through new software

– Manage customer-specific product specification systems to ensure compliance and quality standards are met

– Oversee label checks and adjustments to guarantee a smooth implementation process and compliance with regulations

– You will be a back up for certain QC tasks, in consultation with QA team

Requirements

– Hold a higher diploma in a related field such as agricultural and biotechnology or nutrition and dietetics

– 2+ years of experience in a similar quality assurance role within the food industry

– Demonstrate independence, accuracy, and prioritization skills, with knowledge of EU food legislation being a plus

– knowledge of EU legislation in food information. Knowledge of GS1, PS in Foodservice, SIM/PIM, … is a plus

  • fluent Dutch and English
