Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Position Overview:

As an R&D Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our dynamic team, leading the optimization of powertrain systems and enhancing energy storage solutions. Your expertise in mechanical design, system architecture, and eDriveline technology will shape our product development and drive us towards excellence.

???? Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimization of powertrain systems, focusing on eMotor & transmission efficiencies.
• Enhance energy storage systems including batteries, BMS, and power electronics for optimal vehicle performance and certification.
• Contribute to in-house software development for integrated vehicle systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to innovate on new projects and vehicle conversions.
  

???? Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in high voltage systems, particularly within the automotive sector.
• Hands-on experience with eDriveline technology, batteries, and power electronics.
• Strong understanding of technical standards such as ISO 26262, with the ability to apply them effectively.
• Language proficiency in English and Dutch.
  

???? Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with technical standards in electrical and electromagnetic fields, as well as braking systems.
• Experience in product design and manufacturing processes, including parts management and quality systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills across electrical, mechanical, and controls domains.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for driving innovation in the automotive industry.
• Possible partially remote.
