About Our Client

Our client is a leading transport company based in Brussels, Belgium.

Job Description

  • Greet and welcome visitors, providing them with accurate information and directions
  • Answer incoming phone calls, taking messages and transferring calls as necessary
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is presentable and tidy at all times
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders when needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient communication
  • Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations for executives when required
  • Provide support to the HR department with organizing employee events and activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Dutch and English is a requirement
  • Proficiency in French is a plus
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or office assistant is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of basic office management procedures and equipment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
