Veolia Gent is looking for a motivated Teamleader!

Job Description

The participatory Team Leader is co-responsible for the smooth operation of the site:

The Team Leader is responsible for leadership, with more than 30 percent of time as collaboration time.

  • Supervising correct daily maintenance.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Correctly sorting goods delivered and ensuring quality of recycling streams.
  • The press/truck is loaded and unloaded using a forklift or crane, which you always handle with care.
  • Correct sorting of delivered goods and quality control of recycling streams.

The rest of the time is spent on administrative tasks;

  • Proper staffing
  • Monitoring and adjusting key performance indicators (time spent on site, load factor, etc.).
  • Correct sorting: correct handling and control of waste
  • Planning for disposal
  • Efficient warehouse layout
  • Correct reporting
  • Reporting breakdowns and making arrangements with suppliers/technical service for repairs.

Profiel

Requirements For The Position Of Team Leader

  • You have knowledge of at least 2 languages: Dutch and English or French.
  • You know how to distinguish the essential from the incidental, give a controlled but effective impression and are very safety-conscious.
  • You know how to work in a team.
  • You have an excellent physical condition for this job.
  • Knowledge of office software and SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent verbal and email communication with other departments.
