The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for analyzing and monitoring his regional market (Antwerp, Rotterdam and Duisburg).
He is responsible for marketing the services offered by Naviland Cargo, in one or more regions which are assigned to him. He develops his client portfolios, he is in charge of the responsibility for commercial products at the departure and arrival of agencies within his scope.
He must carry out the prospecting phases necessary for the development of each activity (combined rail / road, fleet management). It provides decision-making support elements at each stage of the projects it leads, in line with the defined commercial policy.
He recommends the steps and actions to be taken while providing marketing support for the offer to the sales teams.
He is based at the Antwerp branch but operates in a commercial area that extends to Rotterdam (mainly) but also Duisburg.
He reports to the Regional Zone Director (who manages the Antwerp, Rotterdam and Duisburg branches) but works in close collaboration with the Sales Director, other sales representatives, the pricing department and the claims department.
- He manages and develops its customer portfolio: pushing NAVILAND CARGO offers to its portfolio (sales, price management, quotes, complaints, relationship), Visits to customers (with reports), participation in all trade shows and clubs. ’local affairs
- He carries out special price studies: he identifies the need with the customer, he places the offers on the standard price tables and he identifies the files for which there is a need to create special prices. He then validates the special prices with the sales manager and pricing.
- He performs a benchmark of the competition and is on standby in its market.
- He is a source of proposals to help increase turnover in his area: creation of new accounts, creation of new services (for example, market studies which may bring out the need to create new trains).
- Responsible for his budget, he manages the evolution of the turnover, ensures the follow-up of recovery actions, complaints.
Required profile :
Business school graduate or Bac + 3 specialty trade, sales or international trade. 5 years minimum experience in a regional sales position within a shipping company, a transit agency or a road carrier. Strong skills in negotiation and sales techniques. A very good knowledge of the Benelux market but especially Antwerp-Rotterdam

Salary: €1,200.00 - €6,800.00 per month
