With your talent and energy paired with our vision and technical leadership, the most fulfilling work of your career is waiting for you at ST Engineering iDirect…the sky is truly the limit!ResponsibilitiesMain ResponsibilitiesDo you want to help us to create the next generation waveforms (secure waveforms for government and defence, satellite waveforms for new space (MEO/LEO/GEO, beamhopping, precoding, VLSNR, 5G)?Your mission is to organize, implement and own a validation & test strategy and a demonstration & test infrastructure for all PHY layer IP cores developed with the physical layer team. Setting up regression tests is important to guarantee and maintain the quality of those IP cores. It is important to have those tests in an end-to-end system, on device level and on unit level. In addition, demonstrating new features to customers is key for our thought leadership strategy.We work in a scrum agile framework.QualificationsYour profile and qualificationsMS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering0-10 years of work experience with most of the following attributes:
  • Experience with digital communication theory and signal processing
  • Entrepreneurial, independent and understanding the need for communication in a team
  • Not afraid of reading and writing papers and patents
  • Demonstrate a track record of success
  • Experience with RF and digital hardware
  • Experience with Linux is an asset
