Profiel:
  • The applicant shall have a
master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Applied Sciences, Engineering Sciences), Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics;

  • Training or experience in Matlab Python is required;
  • Training or experience in signal processing is required;
  • Training or experience in microwave is desired;
  • Experience in machine learning and/or deep learning is a plus;
The applicant shall

  • demonstrate the ability to conduct research at university level;
  • be able to work independently in a multidisciplinary team;
  • have excellent written scientific communication skills in English;
  • have good oral scientific communication skills in English. Oral communication skills in French are an added asset.
Aanbod:
  • The candidate will be
hired ASAP;
  • The candidate will be offered a
fulltime open-ended contract with the patrimony of the Royal Military Academy. This does not imply that the candidate will be a civil servant;
  • Wage scale:
A11 (holders of a Master’s degree in Science) /
A21 (Ir or holders of a Master’s degree in Engineering);
  • Holiday allocation;
  • The usual workplace is the Royal Military Academy, 1000Brussels, occasional travels abroad, measurement campaigns off campus and meeting at partner’s premises are possible.
