We are looking for a Safety & Health Specialist to join our team in Tessenderlo.Your RoleThe Safety & Health Specialist oversees and actively supports safety, health, and environmental programs, training, inspections, and related documentation and recordkeeping. You are part of the SHE team that supports safety, health, and environmental management at Kuehne + Nagel campus Kempen.Your Responsibilities
  • Perform all the necessary duties and tasks as a SHE Specialist to promote wellbeing at work.
  • Ensure risk assessments, accident and incident analyses are performed adequately and timely, and result in effective mitigation of potential hazards.
  • Perform inspections to ensure safety and health controls are adequate and maintained as intended.
  • Provide advice to operational managers, supervisors and employees in all matters related to safety and health.
  • Assist with all tasks necessary for the establishment and continuous improvement of the environmental management system (EMS) in accordance to applicable regulations and standards (ISO14001).
  • Create awareness and positive acceptance of the SHE programs. Support and monitor SHE training programs and assist in keeping SHE-related instructions up to date.
  • Facilitate the preparation and reporting of safety, health and environmental metrics.
  • Support the organization and the QSHE team by being aware of and adhering to the requirements of ISO 9001, GxP and quality related standards, internal procedures and work instructions.
Your Skills And Experiences
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Creator of consensus
  • Accurate, being able to work independently
  • Positive mindset
  • Very good verbal and written knowledge of Dutch and English
